Events and Milestones
What We Have Achieved So Far:
Since opening in February 2024, Stepping Stones Together has proudly supported over 40 children and their families through our specialist social club. Each child has received tailored ABA-based support designed to help them build confidence, improve communication, and develop meaningful social skills.
Many of our children have made incredible progress some have successfully transitioned into mainstream social clubs and community activities, showing greater independence and confidence in group settings.
Our achievements reflect the dedication of our team, the trust of our families, and the positive impact of using ABA principles in a social, nurturing environment.
Official Charity Patron of Stepping Stones Together
A landmark achievement for Stepping Stones Together, we are honoured to welcome Richard Kornicki CBE DL Hon D. Litt., Representative Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Ealing, as the official Patron of our charity.
His appointment is a remarkable recognition of our mission and the dedication of our volunteers, staff , children and families. Together, we look forward to strengthening our impact, championing inclusion and creating lasting opportunities for autistic children and young people across our community.
Mayor's Visit - End of Term Celebration
Stepping Stones Together was proud to welcome the Mayor of Ealing, whose visit recognised the positive impact of our work supporting autistic children, young people and their families. Spending time with our children, meeting our dedicated team and sharing memorable moments together highlighted the importance of inclusion, community and the difference we continue to make across the borough.
Kings Lieutenant Visit

We were privileged to welcome His Majesty's King's Lieutenant to Stepping Stones Together. His visit recognised the positive impact of our work and provided encouragement and inspiration to our children, families and dedicated team. It was a memorable milestone that celebrated inclusion, community and the potential of every child.
Mayoral Charity 2026/2027
A proud milestone for Stepping Stones Together! We have been chosen as one of the Mayor of Ealing's official charities for 2026/2027, celebrating the positive impact of our work within the local community. It is a true honour and a big step in raising awareness of SEND and supporting children with autism in our community.
YEF AWARDS
It was an absolute honour to attend the Young Ealing Foundation Awards with our team, receiving 4 nominations together in total!

We had a spectacular time at the award ceremony and were so proud to be recognised and celebrated, especially by the Mayor and his wife!
Fundraiser Event
We hosted our first fundraiser, it was a huge success, allowing us to raise enough funds for 2 full terms! We had many renowned guests including Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member Louise Brett.
Afternoon Tea Event
Partnering with Heavenly Desserts, we hosted an afternoon tea event, where we raised more awareness about our cause. We also had conversations about the SEN community, what parents struggle with, what services are needed, and how can help!
Author Visit
A vital part of our club structure is story time, though it may start off as a struggle, we work on having all the children sit together and listening to a story. To keep things fun, we invite special guests to come and read to the children, including author of 'Bilals Bad Day' Neelum Khan.
